Section 5.  DRIFT CLASS

• The Drift Class is designed for and limited to vehicles that are built for drifting. The vehicle should be a vehicle that has competed in, or has been built to compete in, sanctioned drifting events. Redline personnel will make the final decision as to whether a vehicle is eligible to compete in the Drift Class.

 

• Professional drivers are permitted in Drift Class.

• Use of DOT approved Street Tires, with a tread wear of 140 or higher is required. DOT R-Compounds or Slicks are not permitted.

• The Drift Class will follow the modification rules of Unlimited Class and will follow the safety rules of Modified Class.
