Some Important info on the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course:

Please note: We are not allowed to use any tire with a treadwear of less than 50. This excludes the Hoosiers, Kumho V710 race tires and other very high performance DOT R-Compounds and of course pure racing slicks. We need to make it very clear, that Due to Mid-Ohio's Course requirements, any tire with a tread wear rating of less than 50 is NOT ALLOWED. All cars competing in the Unlimited Class will be required to use tires with a UTQG tread wear rating of 50 or higher.  We will be forced to tech each car to meet Mid Ohio's requirements. Please understand that this is a rule passed down from Mid Ohio due to a multi-million dollar track resurfacing project.
